Cookies & storage
This notice covers cookies and similar browser technologies, including local storage.
Storage currently used
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Recipient |
|---|---|---|---|---|
fastsaas-theme | First-party local storage | Remembers the light, dark or system display choice requested by the user. | Until changed or site data is cleared. | The user's browser only. |
access_token | First-party local storage | Keeps a signed-in session available and authenticates API requests. | Until sign-out or site data is cleared; server validity is time-limited. | The application API. |
fastsaas-cookie-preferences | First-party local storage | Records optional storage choices when optional categories are enabled. | Six months, or until preferences or site data are cleared. | The user's browser only. |
Why there is no first-visit banner
The application code does not currently set analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking technologies. Authentication and security storage is needed for a signed-in service requested by the user, while the theme value records a display choice requested by the user. These uses do not require a consent banner, but they are disclosed here.
Browser controls and external services
Browser settings can inspect, block or delete site storage. Removing the access token signs the user out; blocking it prevents a persistent signed-in session. Removing the theme value returns the site to its default system setting. External links, including a hosted checkout, operate under the external provider's own privacy and cookie terms.
Future changes
The notice and preference manager must be updated before optional analytics, advertising, embedded media or similar technology is enabled. Optional scripts must remain blocked until the relevant choice is recorded.
